Privacy Policy

#Who We Are

INTERAKTIV AUDIO LIMITED is a Hong Kong-based company that builds iOS, Mac and Windows applications for live DJ performance and produces sample packs for DJs and producers. This policy explains how we handle your data across our website, apps, and digital products.

#Data We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to deliver our products and improve them:

  • Purchase data — When you buy through the Apple App Store, Apple processes your payment. We receive a transaction receipt but not your payment details. For purchases via our website, Stripe processes payments; we receive your email, name, and transaction details but never your full card number.
  • Analytics — Our website may collect anonymized, aggregate usage data (such as page views) to improve it. Our apps run entirely on your device and send us no analytics or usage data.
  • Support correspondence — If you contact us, we store your email address and message content to respond and resolve issues.

#Data We Do Not Collect

  • We do not collect audio content, samples, or recordings from your device.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
  • We do not use tracking pixels or advertising SDKs in our apps.

#Interaktiv Tap (iPad)

Interaktiv Tap runs entirely on your iPad. It has no account, no telemetry and no analytics, and it makes no network request of any kind — there is no server of ours for it to reach.

  • Your playing stays on the cable. MIDI travels between the iPad and your computer over USB. Nothing you play is recorded or sent anywhere.
  • The trial and the unlock are Apple's. Both are verified on the device against Apple's own receipt. We run no servers and keep no record of who owns what.
  • The manual inside the app is on the device. Its text ships with the app and its search runs on your iPad, so browsing or asking it sends nothing anywhere.
  • The settings page is local. When you add Interaktiv Tap to your DJ software's settings, the iPad itself serves that page to your browser over the cable, on your own machine, and only while you are using it.

#Interaktiv Bridge (Windows)

Interaktiv Bridge is our free Windows companion app, which carries MIDI between an iPad and DJ software over the USB cable. It runs entirely on your PC. It has no account, no telemetry, no analytics and no update check of its own, and nothing it handles reaches us.

  • Nothing leaves your machine. It talks to Apple's device service and to the Windows MIDI service on that same computer, and what you play travels over the cable. No Wi‑Fi, no pairing and no network connection of any kind is needed to play.
  • No outbound requests. The app fetches nothing and sends nothing over the internet. Two of its buttons open pages elsewhere, and only when you press them: Apple Devices on the Microsoft Store, and Microsoft's own guide in your browser when Windows' MIDI settings need attention.
  • Your iPad's identifier stays in memory. Opening the USB connection needs the device's identifier. It is never stored and never transmitted.
  • Diagnostics carry no serial numbers and nothing that identifies your iPad. What you copy from its window is message counts and status, the names of the apps on your PC that are using MIDI, and the end of the app's log. That log can include the path of your Windows user folder, which contains your user name, so read a report before you send it if that matters to you. Its log file stays in the app's own folder on your PC and reaches us only if you send it yourself.

#Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party services:

  • Apple — App Store purchases, app distribution, and optional crash reporting via TestFlight/Xcode. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
  • Stripe — Payment processing for website purchases. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Cloudflare — DNS, CDN, and DDoS protection for our website. Cloudflare may process IP addresses and request metadata. Subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
  • Microsoft — distribution of Interaktiv Bridge through the Microsoft Store. Subject to Microsoft's Privacy Statement.
  • YouTube (Google) — video playback on our website. Videos load nothing until you press play; when you do, the player loads from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com), which may process your IP address and set device storage needed for playback, but does not use personalized-advertising cookies. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

#Cookies

Our website uses only essential cookies required for basic functionality (such as theme preference stored in localStorage). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

#Data Retention

We retain purchase records as required by applicable tax and accounting laws. Support correspondence is retained for up to 2 years after the last interaction. Anonymized analytics data is retained indefinitely.

#Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or a jurisdiction with similar data protection laws, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data.
  • Request portability of your data in a machine-readable format.

#Children's Privacy

Our products are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

#Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our products after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
