About Interaktiv Audio
Interaktiv Audio builds live performance tools for DJs and producers — instruments you play, not controllers you configure. We pair decades of stage experience with software built for the demands of a live set.
Our first instrument, Interaktiv Tap for iPad, closes the gap between what DJ software can do and what you can actually reach for mid-performance — letting you play Traktor's effects and remix decks with your hands.
Meet the founders
Pierantonio Gualtieri
Co-founder · product & live performance
A producer, DJ, and sound engineer since 1990, Pierantonio — who performs as Iltoro — trained at the Conservatory of Music Luigi Cherubini in Florence, and went on to found the Urban Mantra and Moustache labels and Hyper Studio in Italy. He's played Traktor since its earliest versions, and across all those years on stage he kept feeling the same gap: Traktor's deepest tools — its effects and remix decks — were powerful on paper but hard to truly perform live. That stage-tested perspective drives what Interaktiv Audio builds.
Andrey Koppel
Co-founder · software & engineering
A software architect since 2008 and a lifelong musician — with a classical education in both music theory and computer science — Andrey has always wanted technology to serve musical expression. A DJ and producer himself, he runs Vibrohive studio in Chiang Mai. He turned a shared idea — playing a whole live rig by hand — into stable, powerful software you can trust on stage.
Our story
When Pierantonio and Andrey met in 2023, they found a shared obsession: making music software playable. Pierantonio had the problem, sharpened over decades on stage; Andrey had the engineering to solve it.
They set out to build something past standard controllerism — an interface that turns Traktor into an instrument for shaping sound by hand. The iPad was the surface that made it possible: a piece of glass responsive enough to perform on.
Interaktiv Tap is the result — imagined by a veteran DJ, engineered by a musician who codes, and built for the stage.
